When a baby is born, obviously a new life is born,
often however also a mother is born this moment.
A new phase has started; a transformation has taking
place.
Life is full of these transformations, baby to child, child
to teenager, young adult, mother, mature woman,
widow, crone and "Birth of a Woman", still in foetal
position, is one of these transformations and
represents all of them.
